Big news for a small coin

Vootcoin just announced that the first anon transaction has gone through and it does not require masternodes to do this. This is something unique as far as I know. The Voot decentralized market should be launched "near-term". SMS-tipping is available and the coin is only worth $371k. Consider this a best invest. If no major trouble comes up this is as safe as it gets in crypto space. In my view Voot should be going to somewhere between 2-4 million market cap in the short-term. However, thats only my view of course. I hope big exchanges like Mintpal and Cryptsy add it soon. This is the kind of coins they should be trading and supporting.

Vootcoin - interesting outlook

I think Vootcoin (VOOT) has one of the most interesting anon solutions proposed. If they can deliver their program I think they have a very promising future ahead. I will be watching it very carefully. At a price of 700 sat and a market cap @ $284k it offers a lot of room for growth. If I am not mistaking they are also looking to rebrand it. Vericoin - veri positive

It seems there is a growing interest for Vericoin (VRC). They have been veri innovative lately and the word is spreading around. I think the outlook is good. It just dipped - might be a good chance to get it now. This might be one of those "long-term" invests. Trade it on e.g. Mintpal.

Cryptcoin - anon only when online?

There was some fud spread about Cryptcoin on their Reddit page. The author was claiming that the anonymity of Cryptcoin is less than that of Bitcoin. I can't say much about that and it does not sound so credible. But he also made the point that if an anonymous transaction is to happen with Cryptcoin both the sending and the receiving wallet need to be online. Based on what the dev team has published so far this seems highly plausible. For me it makes no sense. If both parties have to be online when you want to make an anon transaction it spoils the party for me. Due to this reason I can't see the potential anymore that I was picturing in Cryptcoin before. Maybe the upcoming announcement will prove the contrary, but I am not waiting, until then I'm out.

Summercoin update

A basic framework of the Summercoin Navajo Technology was just announced. Unfortunately the solution is partially centralized. I'm a believer of decentralization and for me it is the reason of existence for crypto currencies. It seems like the market is of the same opinion. The Summercoin price has been falling since the announcement.

Update on Cryptcoin

There are only a few coins that manage it all the way to the top. I expect Cryptcoin (CRYPT) to be one of those coins. Some people claim it will replace Darkcoin, because it's anon functionality is better or more efficient.

The price will keep moving like a jojo, up and down, but with an upward trend. Don't let yourself be disturbed by that. The best thing is not to look at it too much and sell when you feel it's ripe. I will still hold it for a very good while.

Summercoin - a summer secret?

When I first noticed Summercoin (SUM2) a few weeks back there was not much about it that caught my eye. Later they announced that they are working on something called the Navajo Anonymous Technology. The concept sounds interesting. Now we have one more coin trying to create their own secret anon sause. It should be released any week now. Read more here. The price has done a nice run since the launch of the coin and it is currently moving in the 450-800 sat range. Even though I don't like buying coins this far in the life-cycle, with a market cap of $200k I think it sounds like a fair deal. The outlook sounds promising to me. You can trade it on Bittrex.
